(Live on Christmas concert, 2010)              The Sound Of Silence                                                  (침묵의소리)  -Dana Winner-                              Hello darkness, my old friend                            안녕. 내 오랜 친구인 어둠이여.                            I've come to talk with you again                            자네와 다시 애기하고 싶어 왔네.                            Because a vision softly creeping                            왜냐하면 어떤 환영이 살며시 다가와                            Left its seeds While I was sleeping                            내가 잠든 사이에 씨를 뿌리고 갔거든                            And the vision that was planted in my brain                            내 머릿속에 심어진 그 환상은                            Still remains Within the sound of silence                            아직도 여전히 침묵의 소리안에 남아있다네                              In restless dreams I walked alone                            불안한 꿈속에서 난 홀로 걸었어                            Narrow streets of cobble stone                            자갈이 깔린 좁은 골목길을                           'Neath the halo of a street lamp                            가로등 불빛의 후광 아래서                            I turned my collar to the cold and damp                            난 추위와 습기를 막으려 옷깃을 올려 세웠지.                            When my eyes were stabbed by the                            flash of a neon light                            그때 내 눈은 네온 불빛에 찌르는 듯 했고                            That split the night                            그 불빛은 어둠을 가르며                            And touched the sound of silence                            침묵의 소리를 어루만졌지.                            And in the naked light I saw                            그리고 적나라한 불빛 속에서 난 보았어.                            Ten thousand people, maybe more                            만 명의 사람들. 어쩌면 더 많은 사람들을                            People talking without speaking                            그 사람들은 말하지 않고 떠들어 대고 있도                            People hearing without listening                            귀 기울이지 않고 건성으로 듣고                            People writing songs                            노래를 쓰고 있었어.                            That voices never share                            말로해도 공감할 수 없는                            No one dared                            그리고 아무도 감히                            Disturb the sound of silence                            그 침묵의 소리를 깨뜨리지 못했지.                             'Fools' said I ' you do not know'                           "바보들"  난 말했어 "그대들은 모르네"                            Silence like a cancer grows                            침묵이 마치 암처럼 퍼지는 것을                            Hear my words that I might teach you                            그대들에게 교훈이 될지도모를 내 말을 들어봐                            Take my arms that I might reach you                            그대들에게 다가갈지도 모를 내 팔을 잡아봐                            But my words like silent raindrops fell                            하지만 나의 얘기는 소리없는 빗방울처럼 떨어져                            And echoed In the wells of silence                            침묵의 샘 그 안에 공허한 메아리가 되었지.                              And the people bowed and prayed                            사람들은 절하고 기도했어                            To the neon god they made                            자신들이 만든 네온 신에게                            And the sign flashed out its warning                            그리고 경고의 메세지가 빛났지                            In the words that it was forming                            그것이  만들어 내는 문구에                            And the signs said                            거기엔 이렇게  있었지                           'The words of the prophets are written                            '예언자의 말은 적혀있다' 고                            On the subway walls and tenement halls                            "지하철의 벽이나 싸구려 아파트 현관에 "                            Whispered in the sound of silence                            침묵의 소리에 그렇게 속삭였지...     http://blog.daum.net/kdm2141/3073
